Terms and Conditions of Stay
Please make yourselves familiar with our industry standard Terms, Conditions and small print. These are clearly laid out below. There is nothing to alarm you as they are general small hotels industry standard conditions. Please ask us if you require any further assistance in this or any other matters. No visitors allowed after 10-00 pm. All visitors must report to reception.
IMPORTANT RESERVATION POLICY.
It is recommended you take out Holiday Cancellation Insurance from your travel agent to cover every likely eventuality.
When you make a reservation for accommodation you are entering a legally binding contract with the New England Hotel.
Generally If you fail to arrive, cancel within 72 hours(3 Days) of the arrival date or fail to take up your reserved accommodation for whatever reason, you will be liable in full for your reserved accommodation to the New England Hotel.
If you are forced to cancel your booking please write to us immediately and obtain a Cancellation reference from us.
By giving us your credit card details you are authorizing us to charge your credit card, for your accommodation in full.
In practice your card will not be charged until the arrival day, So this gives you the option to pay by cash, travellers cheques in GBP pounds sterling or by credit card upon your arrival (Accounts settled by Diners or American Express are subject to a 3 % Surcharge). Any unpaid cancellation charges, telephone bills, unregistered extra guests or damages and removals (e.g towels, linens, & fixtures and fittings) will be charged to your credit card.

Please note it is your responsibility to ensure that the credit card details provided to us are current, correct and valid for the period during your stay. No confirmed reservation is accepted unless supported by a current valid credit card.
OUR GENERAL CANCELLATION POLICY is for you to give us at least 72 hours (3 Day's) written notice of cancellation prior to your arrival date. More written notice is required for Peak Period & Group Bookings. Please See Detailed policy as below.
Normal Period Bookings
All Confirmed reservations are subject to a min £20.00 administration fee.
(1) Cancellations made more than 72 hrs (3 Days) Prior to the arrival date (at British Time 10 am):-

Peak Period, Group & Concessional Bookings
(1) Next Day or One night Concessional bookings
Next day or one night only concessional bookings cannot be cancelled and will be charged in full irrespective.
(2) Group Bookings and Peak Period Public/Bank Holiday
Reservations for Groups or falling on a Bank/Public Holiday require THREE WEEKS written notice else
management reserve the right to charge up to 3 nights stay at the normal rack rate.
(5) LONG-STAY BOOKINGS
Should you book two or more rooms as a group and then wish to cancel the booking then a minimum of 21 days
written notice is required in writing or else a minimum of 3 nights will be deducted from the credit card(s)
provided to secure the bookings, at the normal rack rate. Please ensure if you are the lead person that all
parties in your group are aware of this.
IF YOU BOOK FOR 7 OR MORE NIGHTS IN TOTAL, WHETHER it is a continuous
stay or not, should you for any reason need to cancel part of the booking or reduce
the number of nights stay, 3 weeks written notice for cancellation is required and the
rate for the reduced nights stay is subject to change to the seasonal rack rate .
BY MAKING A RESERVATION AND OR SIGNING OUR REGISTRATION BOOK YOU ARE AGREEING TO BE BOUND BY THE ABOVE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
if possible will be allowed for an Early Check in charge of GBP £25.00, Please pre arrange
STRICTLY NO SMOKING POLICY FOR ALL ROOMS
MANAGEMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO IMPOSE A MINIMUM FINE OF
GBP 20-00 UP TO THE PRICE OF 1 NIGHTS STAY OF YOUR
ROOM, FOR NON-COMPLIANCE.
Your credit card will be charged accordingly if you or anyone in your party smokes in your room.
